Win a 2012 Porsche 911 S from Need for Speed: The Run

Electronic Arts has a deal worked out with the folks from Porsche that gives them exclusive permission to use Porsche models in their video games and in the upcoming Need for Speed: The Run, there will be a heavy presence of Stuttgart’s finest including the new 2012 Porsche 911 S. EA previously released a video showing off their new game packed with Porsche models, seemingly in response to news that the folks at Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios would not be granted permission to offer Porsche models in the new Forza Motorsport 4 sim racer. Now, to seemingly make darn sure that no one forgets that EA and Need for Speed have Porsche models in their games, they will be giving away a 2012 Porsche 911 S to a lucky fan of the EA brand.

To enter into the 2012 Porsche 911 S Giveaway Sweepstakes, all you have to do is head on over to NeedforSpeed.com, which has all of the information you could ask for pertaining to the new game Need for Speed: The Run. This includes videos featuring footage from the upcoming game along with news of the contest. You can go to the contest page by clicking here.

That page has a button to “Enter Now” and when you click that, you are asked to sign in to your EA gamer account. I already had one so I only had to sign in and I was automatically registered for the contest but for those of you who do not, the registration is very simple – asking you to create a username and password while providing a valid registration email address. After that, you are prompted that you have been registered and it will be just that easy for one lucky gamer to win a 2012 Porsche 911 S. Of course, there is also a plug for The Run explaining that if you pre-order the game, you will unlock this new supercar in the game.
