I did buy black Boss wheels for my winter tires, since I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada where we have full on winter.
This vehicle is special for me because this Dodge Challenger is as close as I could get to replace what my husband drove, a 1970 Dodge Coronet Superbee, Burnt Sienna with white vinyl roof and quarter panel strips and logo. I love the color of my car. It's close to the Superbee's.
I purchased it July 2011. It was brand new and only usual maintenance and front struts replaced.
My husband died 15 years ago so this is now my buddy "Terry". I love to drive and don't need an excuse to get in and roll. To put it in perspective, on Dec 8th in the 28th month of ownership my odometer rolled 88,888 kilometers or 55,233 miles for my American neighbors.
Where I live is very similar in geography and climate as Minnesota and Wisconsin, our neighboring states. I am the eldest of 8 with 7 brothers, who are all gear-heads.
My brother 1 yr my junior is a Mopar fanatic along with his 5 kids. My nieces and nephews own a whole fleet of Dodge products. His company is one of the sponsors of Dragfest an event that occurs the long weekend in August in Terrace Bay, Ontario. And they all participate. One of these days I will do the quarter mile again. My husband always did in his Superbee (before we had a legal venue... lol).
