The 2011 Ram 1500 Sport R/T is offered only as regular cab with the 6’4” bed and rear wheel drive. Fastlane takes the fully color-matched Sport R/T and adds a sportier lower front fascia, their own rear fascia and what looks to be the Mopar “power bulge” hood. While the Fastlane Terramoto artwork provided doesn’t offer any information about the back end of the truck, the front fascia looks a great deal like the standard Sport R/T fascia with the large center opening flanked by what looks to be emptier fog light openings but the “chin” area swoops out far more aggressively than the standard R/T. The most obvious addition to the Ram R/T Terramoto are the gigantic Assanti wheels measuring 24x12 out back and 22x10 in the front.
The standard 5.7L Hemi V8 of the Ram 1500 Sport R/T sends 390 horsepower to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission and a set of 4.10 gears. Fastlane will be adding a supercharger to their Ram R/T Terramoto to boost the power into the neighborhood of 500 horsepower. The folks at PickupTrucks.com point out that the standard Ram Sport R/T scoots from 0-60 in under 6 seconds but with over 500 horsepower, the Fastlane Terramoto should be able to beat that, even though the Assanti wheels may not be the best wheel choice for high performance.
Hopefully this sexy sport truck from Fastlane will make its way to the 2011 SEMA Show, as the tire and wheel section is usually chock full of eye-popping customs like the Ram R/T Terramoto.
