Ram Rebel Knows a Perfect Steak, Limited Gets New Tailgate Letters

The Ram Rebel is the most off-road capable half ton truck ever from the Ram Truck brand and at the ongoing 2017 Houston Auto Show, FCA’s hardest-working group is showing off a new exterior color on the popular Rebel. Also, in addition to a new exterior hue for the Rebel, the Limited package for the 1500, 2500 and 3500 all get new body-colored tailgate lettering for those who find the big chrome RAM a bit too loud.

Delmonico Red Ram Rebel
I love the Ram Rebel and I love a good Delmonico steak, cooked rare with a nice, dark sear to the outside, of course. Delmonico Red is a deep, darker red, just like the inside of a nice cut of meat cooked Pittsburgh rare and with the optional two-tone layout featuring black trim all around the truck – the Delmonico Red Ram 1500 Rebel is basically an awesome off-road truck inspired by a perfectly cooked steak. Those who want even more black trim can opt for the Rebel Black package with the new Delmonico Red exterior paint.

On the inside, the Delmonico Red Ram Rebel features a black and gray layout with black anodized bezels on the doors, center console, instrument panel and gauge cluster trim rings. The front seats are completely black (heated leather), sporting the Rebel logo in black with Light Slate Gray trim on the bolsters.

Delmonico Red joins Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black, Flame Red, Granite Crystal Metallic and Mojave Sand in the Ram Rebel color palate and since this new deep metallic red is a no-charge option – a Delmonico Red 2017 Ram Rebel starts at $45,095 (not including destination). Dealerships are taking orders for the Rebel in this new color right now and deliveries are expected to begin in May.

New RAM Limited Tailgate Lettering
Like the Ram Rebel, the Ram Limited in 1500, 2500 and 3500 trim comes with the newer RAM lettering across the tailgate. The Rebel’s lettering is black and until this week, the Limited lettering came in bright chrome. However, some people insist that the massive chrome letters are a bit too flashy, so starting immediately, all of the Ram Limited trucks can be ordered with body colored tailgate lettering.

Any new Ram Limited buyer who gets their truck in Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red, Granite Crystal Metallic, Maximum Steel Metallic, Pearl White and True Blue and opt for the body-color RAM lettering out back rather than the chrome, but with all of the chrome on those trucks – I would still opt for the bright chrome badges. These body-colored letters at a $195 upgrade and dealers can order them right now.
