“Our top-of-the-line Itasca Ellipse adds another stunning floor plan to its lineup for 2012 – the 42JD,” said Roger Martin, VP of sales and marketing for Winnebago.

The Ellipse 42JD, which carries an MSRP of $352,967, features two TVs in the living area – a 32-inch LED HDTV mid-coach and a 40-inch LCD HDTV in the front overhead. It has three slideouts, with a full wall slide on the street side.
The dining room offers a buffet with extendable table and chairs and a 4-door frig. A residential-style Maytag French door refrigerator is optional.
The galley features Pantry x2 offering double the pantry storage thanks to swing-out doors for improved storage and function.
The 42JD also offers high-end Corian solid surface countertops, backsplash and sink covers.
A large master bath includes his and her sinks and a large curved Big Shower with skylight, dual master bath wardrobes and optional stacked washer and dryer. A guest bath is positioned for easy access mid-coach.
“Overall – the Ellipse 42JD floor plan and amenities are great,” said Jason Bellflower, personal RV advisor with Camping World of Tallahassee in Florida. “The rear bath with double vanity and half bath is a real bonus. It’s a beautiful machine.”
The bedroom has an Ideal Rest powered king bed and large dual wardrobes along with a 26-inch LCD HDTV and a rear stereo system with AM / FM / CD / DVD player, iPod, and mp3 input and built-in alarm clock.
“The Itasca Ellipse has made a big step forward in 2012 with the glazed cabinetry and polished tile floor that make this coach truly first class,” said Pat Leach, owner and president of Leach Camper Sales, Lincoln, Neb.
“The finish of the ceiling in the living and bedroom areas also adds to the beauty and overall look of the coach. The coach shows very nice.”
The Itasca Ellipse offers two additional floor plans for 2012.
The 42QD is the industry’s hottest-selling diesel floor plan in 2011. The triple-slide 42QD features an extendible sectional sofa with a 40-inch LCD just opposite. This bath-and-a-half floorplan features a spacious bedroom, with a king bed, well-appointed kitchen with pull-out island and lots of storage. Its sticker is $353,108.
The 42AD offers four slideouts. The mid-coach lounge area has an extendible sectional sofa and Rest Easy Multi-Position Lounge. The fully equipped kitchen is in the front of the coach, with a luxurious bedroom in the rear. It's 42AD: $355,971 out the door.
