"We are thrilled to be able to partner on such an exciting project. The need for a facility like this in Southern California is long overdue since the closing of Riverside in the late 1980s. Thermal Motorsports Track & Club is destined to become the world's finest motoring facilities," Tim Rogers said.
The family behind one of the nation’s largest wholesale fuel providers, the Rogers have been in close contact with the Thermal team since the project's inception.
“We have enjoyed a great relationship with the Rogers (family) over the past few years and are delighted to form this partnership with them,” said Paul Clayton, on behalf of himself and partners, Blake Miraglia and Tony Renaud.
The facility received unanimous Planning Commission approval in June and is scheduled to start clearing the property for grading this month, with completion of the track by Christmas.
Thermal Motorsports Track club is set to become North America’s premier destination for automotive connoisseurs and racing enthusiasts alike.
Situated within the desert landscape of the world renowned resort area of Palm Springs, Thermal is an invitation-only members club that brings together the rich traditions of California motorsports and leading-edge facilities to create an experience of unparalleled style and performance.
