The Nissan Self-Parking Chair

The Intelligent Parking Chair is a concept created based on Nissan's self-parking technology for automotive. The chairs can put themselves back into a pre-set position thanks to rollers in the base and cameras.

The cameras view the room from overhead and feed the information to a controller, which tells the chairs where to go. The cameras can detect if the chair is occupied, empty, and where objects are in the room so that the chair does not run into anything. The chairs are being utilized in a Nissan office in Japan.
