At this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, Toyota will have a host of cool cars on display including the FT-1 Concept. However, the truck display is the most impressive part of Toyota’s spread at booth 24700. Toyota is bringing production, racing, and racing support versions of the Tundra, 4Runner and Tacoma.
2015 Tacoma At SEMA
The Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Dessert Race Truck will make an appearance ahead of its upcoming run at the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. Toyota will also show TRD Pro versions of the Tundra, Tacoma, and 4Runner, that are going to be chase trucks supporting the race truck.
In addition to these current race and support vehicles, Toyota is bringing Iron Man Stewart’s multi-championship Toyota Tundra Trophy Truck.
2015 TRD Pro Trucks
The 2015 Toyota TRD trucks are now on sale in the US market. The Tundra, Tacoma, and 4Runner all have a host of modifications including tire and suspension upgrades. Each also has a skid-plate and interior and exterior style changes over previous years TRD offerings.
Commenting on the SEMA show as a place for Toyota to highlight these trucks, Steve Appelbaum, Toyota’s engagement marketing and motorsports national manager, said, “What better place than SEMA to show the automotive world what our passion for performance looks like. Toyota is making cars and trucks that inspire creativity amongst the enthusiasts who live and work in the SEMA industry, and we’re so excited to show what that kind of bold imagination can produce with our vehicles.”
SEMA runs from November 4rth through the 7th.
