2018 Lexus RC F Sport Black Edition - Something Special Comes to New York

Lexus will be bringing a special edition RC F Sport coupe to the New York Auto Show this month. The 2018 RC F Sport Black Line Special Edition. The new trim will be available on a limited run of just 650 cars. All of the e special edition cars will be based on RC 300 F Sport and 350 F Sport models. The Black Line coupes feature two exterior paint colors: Caviar and Atomic Silver.

Lexus has applied gloss exterior paint to contrast with matte black wheels sporting orange or black painted brake calipers. The chrome trim has been deleted and instead, the Black Line edition features black chrome accents around the grille and windows.

Inside, RC F Sport Black Line coupes are trimmed with offsetting in orange stitching throughout the interior. Lexus has also selected distinctive shades of black wood-trimmed steering wheel features that were created by a Japanese calligraphy shop which has been creating custom ink for more than 200 years.

RC F Sport Black Line coupes will come equipped with the Navigation + Mark Levinson Audio Package, Intuitive Parking Assist, Moonroof and Triple Beam LED headlamps, adding key content to the special edition. Every powertrain of the RC except the V8 will be available as a Black Line Special Edition. That includes The base RC 300 which comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine. The RC 300 AWD, RC 350 and RC 350 AWD come with a 3.5-liter V6.

The new Black Line Special Edition RC coupes will be on display later this month at the New York Auto Show starting April 30th and running through April 8th.
