FUELL’s New Flluid-2 and Flluid-3 E-Bike Lines Aim to Be Viable Car Alternative

Today, FUELL announced its new Flluid-2 E-Bike lines. FUELL is an e-bike company led by Erik Buell of Buell Motorcycles fame. The company has retail locations throughout the United States.

Due to some clever engineering, Flluid says its 2, 2S, 3, and 3S e-bikes provide a unique riding experience that sets them apart from their peers in the crowded e-bike industry. Key features include a top assisted speed of up to 20 MPH, an automatic transmission, and an industry-leading range as high as 225 miles on a single charge. No other e-bike line combines these attributes.

“We used the knowledge gained from our initial foray into the electric bike market with Flluid-1 to develop a superior urban transportation solution, making sure that Flluid-2 & 3 are true and viable alternatives to cars,” said company CTO Erik Buell. E-bikes are also ideal companions to your electric vehicle.

Two New Designs With Two Sets of Features
The Flluid-2 is the ultra-long-range e-bike in the family. It features two removable battery packs, which combine to offer a total of 2 kWh of power. This onboard energy storage translates to an impressive range of up to 225 miles on a single charge. The Flluid-3 offers a step-through frame and has a single 1kWh battery providing up to 110 miles of range.

Automatic Transmissions
Automatic gear changes and limited power on steep hills are the two main advantages of the new Flluid e-bikes from FUELL. Each is powered by Valeo's all-new 750W / 130 Nm mid-drive motor coupled to an integrated automatic gearbox providing smooth power no matter how challenging the terrain is. Smart algorithms adjust assistance, cranking frequency and pace so that you get exactly the type of power assistance you desire. Manual shifting is also possible.

Design Features
In addition to those listed above, the following are some of the design features of this exciting new e-bike line:
-Strong, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and durable aluminum alloy frame
-Tektro hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping power
-Gates Carbon belt drive that won't need maintenance or lubrication
-Clutter-free components
-Sized for riders between 5'1'' to 6'5”
-Throttle assist will be available up to 20 mph
-FUELL Rider phone app to locate and remotely lock/unlock your e-bike, be warned about unusual movements, access data and statistics about usage, and more.
