Lectron announced today that its new V2L adapter will allow Hyundai Ioniq 5 owners to use their vehicle’s battery to power 115V devices. The device turns the Ioniq 5’s power port into a standard AC outlet (US). Not only that, the outlet is powerful, and has a 15 amp rating, the very same rating that most home circuits offer.

The unit simply plugs into the J-Plug in the vehicle and then offers an AC outlet. The Lectron V2L adapter is priced at $120.99 and is available now.
The V2L adapter is small. It is about the size of a standard J-plug handle and it fits in a glove box or vehicle cargo area easily.
Note that this product is only for the two Hyundai Ioniq vehicles listed in the story. It is not designed to work with other battery-electric vehicles.
The Lectron V2L adapter is also available on Amazon and can be purchased with a 24-hour delivery. It presently has 25 reviews and a 4.5-star rating.
