Lexus insiders have been whispering to me about a new 2015 GS F. Now the company has released these teaser images showing what to my eye looks like the new IF S. The company also says that the next in the F series will be shown in a few weeks. Which car is it? Based on what we know so far, Lexus will introduce the new 2015 GS F at the North American International Auto Show on January 14th at 8:40am.
A New Track Ready Lexus
Lexus Calls this new vehicle “track-ready.” That means that the vehicle will not just have the almost 500hp V8 engine from the RC F, but will also come complete with brakes, suspension, and transmission changes that take it a step up from the GS F Sport. Seats and for sure body-work will also be different. . Based on our track testing of the RC F, the most surprising things were the ride comfort, seats and transmission
Is the Lexus IS F dead?
The IS F is definitely discontinued. Production has ended and in all likelihood the last remaining IS F cars are now sold. The IS F sold poorly in the past couple of years. By our estimates, maybe only 100 units for the US market were sold in the past 12 months. However, it may have done better had it been upgraded to the new platform introduced in 2014. We may never know. Or we may know on January 14th if our guess is wrong.

Hi John. Dou you read German?
Please have a look at the link on autobild.de a very famous car magasine from my country.
It's about build quality and also reliability.
The result: Lexus and Toyota best built cars. They even say clearly that the Lexus and some Toyotas are even better built as our Benz's.
Honestly as a german i was a bit schoked.
Cheers
I don't read German, but

I don't read German, but thanks for the heads up. I have done so many stories saying the same and citing sources like Consumer Reports, NADA, and J.D. Power and Associates that I have nerve damage in my hands.
