New Lectron Offering Adds Peace Of Mind To Your Home EV Charging System

Lectron will now extend its standard warranty for customers and those who already own a Lectron charging system.

If you own a Lectron electric vehicle charger or are thinking about buying one soon, a new program may be of interest to you. Lectron has partnered with the product protection experts from Extend to bring you Lectron Care. This new program can extend the included manufacturer’s warranty on your Lectron Charging system by as many as three full years.

"This extended warranty program reflects our commitment to providing ongoing support for our customers at a wallet-friendly price," said Christopher Maiwald, CEO of Lectron. "Lectron Care means Lectron chargers and adapters will continue to meet our customers' needs long after the manufacturer's warranty is up."

Lectron’s Standard Warranty
Presently, Lectron offers a limited two-year warranty on its products against defects in materials and workmanship. This is the typical standard warranty in the industry. Given that Lectron is a quality brand trusted by many EV owners, this has been a solid offering since it doubled from just one year in January of 2023.

Lectron Care
Although Lectron’s standard warranty is solid, some customers do like added protection on their purchases. For these customers, Lectron Care can add from one to three years of coverage. Adding this extra coverage is as easy as filling out an online form.

What’s Covered?
Lectron Care, backed by Extend, offers the following coverage policy:

  1. Hassle-free replacements
  2. Mechanical failure
  3. Electrical failure
  4. No deductible
  5. 24/7 Coverage
