ABC also reported that the Loveland Police Department offered this statement:

On Monday evening, Nelson returned to Loveland Tesla while in possession of additional incendiary devices, along with materials attributed to vandalism. Detectives apprehended Nelson prior to further damage occurring.

USA Today Quoted Loveland Police spokesman Chris Padgett as saying:

These incidents were not only unlawful, dangerous, and unsettling, they also created an atmosphere of discomfort and worry. Those who work at the business, along with those living in the community, have had to deal with such concerns since the first incident on January 29th.

KTSM News quoted Mr. Padgett as saying:

I know that there have been some rumors that it was just fireworks and bottle rockets, and that is not the case. The devices that were discovered had potential for serious damage. We have to think bigger than just property damage and a business. We have to think about employees, we have to think about residents who live in the area.

Tesla Protests Span the Globe
Tesla vehicles and dealerships have come under various forms of vandalism attacks, and Tesla drivers themselves have been harassed and their vehicles vandalized as of late. One Tesla owner claims that he was punched because of what he drives.

These attacks stem from left-leaning activists who disagree with Elon Musk’s political activities in the Trump administration. Musk is engaged in rooting our waste, fraud, and abuse as an advisor to the Department of Government Efficiency

Anti-Musk sentiment has been expressed even by Tesla owners through the use of anti-Musk bumper stickers and the like, which are now sold through Amazon.
