What are the most popular vehicles with new car shoppers this summer? According to Edmund's research, the 2023 Crosstrek is now Subaru's most popular and in-demand new vehicle in the all-wheel-drive lineup. The Crosstrek subcompact SUV is now number eleven on the most popular new models list.

With gas prices near $5.00 per gallon according to AAA, the most researched new models now include small and midsize SUVs and fuel-efficient cars. No pickups are included in the top-12 model's list.

The top 12 popular new SUVs and cars that attracted the most car-shopper consideration in May are the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV4, Honda Pilot, Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Acura RDX, Mustang Mach-E, Hyundai Tucson, Tesla Model 3, Subaru Crosstrek, and Honda Passport.

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek offers standard all-wheel-drive, top safety crash scores, 8.7-inches of ground clearance, and X-Mode for off-road performance.

Subaru of America announced all 2023 Subaru Crosstrek trim levels get a $600 price increase, including destination and delivery fees. Dealer fees increased by $50 for 2023 Crosstrek trims.

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek now comes in six trim levels for U.S. customers. The base trim is priced from $24,870, Premium, ($26,020), a new Special Edition ($27,970), Sport ($29,220), Limited ($30,720) and Crosstrek Hybrid ($38.070). Prices include destination and delivery fees ($1,225).

What's the 2023 Crosstrek fuel mileage?

The CVT models achieve EPA-estimated fuel economy of 28/33 city/highway and 30 combined mpg. The 6-speed manual trim levels are rated 22/29 city/highway and 25 combined mpg. The 2.5-liter Boxer engine achieves an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 27/34 city/highway and 29 combined mpg.
