The 2025 Subaru BRZ, More Price Increases And 2 New Upgrades

Subaru of America announced pricing and upgrades on the 2025 Subaru BRZ rear-wheel drive sports car. Prices have gone up, and manual transmission coupes get a new upgrade. Find out the details here.

Another round of price increases.

Subaru of America has announced the 2025 Subaru BRZ rear-wheel drive sport coupe pricing. Performance car enthusiasts will dish out more for the 2025 BRZ, but it comes with two new upgrades. Here are the details. First, here’s what Subaru says.

“The latest generation Subaru BRZ has sharp styling that is as crisp as its handling. The overall impression is balanced but aggressive, with classic sports-car coupe proportions made better by its shapely hood.”

“The tidy coupe design cuts through the air with a low and wide frontal area set off by large functional air intakes and a low grille capped by proud fender arches that allow just enough room for suspension points.”

“At the rear of the car, the large rear fenders and wide track flow into dual exhausts for a low and wide stance. This visual heft is lightened by a narrow greenhouse and rear hatch that flows into a dramatic upturned “ducktail” rear spoiler.”

For the 2025 model year, the Subaru BRZ two-door coupe is offered in three trim levels: Premium, Limited, and tS—the same as the 2024 models.

What is the 2025 BRZ pricing?

  • BRZ Premium has a starting MSRP of $32,265
  • BRZ Limited 6-speed manual transmission - $34,915
  • BRZ Limited automatic transmission - $35,765
  • BRZ tS - $37,415

Pricing includes the manufacturer’s destination and delivery fees ($1,170, +$50 from 2024).

How much did 2025 BRZ pricing increase?

  • BRZ Premium +$950
  • BRZ Limited (6MT) +$1,100
  • BRZ Limited (6AT) +$1,000
  • BRZ tS +$950

BRZ comes with a manual or automatic transmission.

The BRZ Premium and BRZ tS come exclusively with a six-speed, close-ratio manual transmission. Limited trims come with an optional six-speed electronic direct-control automatic transmission.

There are no power upgrades from the 2024 model year.

All 2025 BRZ trims come with Subaru’s 2.4-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder Boxer engine, producing 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. All trims come standard with a Torsen limited-slip rear differential.

What’s new for 2025?

2025 Subaru BRZ gets two new upgrades.

The BRZ comes with two new upgrades, enhancing its performance and luxury features and making it an even more appealing choice for sports car enthusiasts.

New to the Subaru BRZ for the 2025 model year is a dedicated “Sport” mode for coupes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Subaru says it’s for “sharper throttle response during spirited driving.”

On the Limited trim level, standard black Ultrasuede upholstery with red leather-appointed bolsters and contrast stitching has been revised with a deeper hue and added accents in the cabin.

All other features and option packages carry over from the 2024 model year BRZ.

Conclusion:

The 2025 Subaru BRZ is still an affordable sports car even with the price increases. Subaru raised pricing significantly on 2024 models and again on the 2025 model year.

It’s important to know that the BRZ is a boutique model for Subaru of America. They don’t count on the BRZ to sell in large volumes. Subaru sells fewer of these models, but they are more profitable for dealers when they do sell one.

Because the BRZ is not a high-volume model, you likely won’t find many new models sitting on dealer lots or manufacturer incentives for the 2025 BRZ sports coupe. However, SOA offers 3.9% APR financing or a $435 monthly lease on any remaining 2024 BRZ models.

When will the 2025 BRZ reach U.S. retailers?

Subaru of America has confirmed that the 2025 Subaru BRZ will be available at retailers early next year. Performance enthusiasts can plan your purchase and be among the first to experience the new model.
