First BMW M2 images emerge ahead of NAIAS

Thanks to BMW Motor Show Blog, we have the first photo of the BMW M2 Coupe before the official unveiling tomorrow in Detroit. BMW chose the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) as the place they will unveil the newest M model. Performance enthusiasts all over the globe have been waiting for the new M2 Coupe to be officially revealed.

BMW has been showing lots of images and videos of the newest M model since it was announced back in October. There has been a steady stream of information and fans are excite for the new high-performance model to arrive. It’s being produced at BMW’s Leipzig plant in Germany and they’ve already produced enough models that many have been spotted in Europe. Now it's arrived on U.S. shores.

The day is almost here for the official 2016 BMW M2 reveal. It will be unveiled at the BMW booth at the Detroit Auto Show tomorrow at 10:05am EST live from the floor of the COBO Center. Before the reveal, the image above shows the new M2 being driven into the Detroit convention center.

The 2016 BMW M2 Long Beach Blue metallic NAIAS model has arrived and is getting prepped for the reveal tomorrow. The first M2 Coupes will be arriving in showrooms starting in April. Pricing will be announced closer to market launch. Stay tuned.
