If you are looking for the best deals on an SUV, take a look at the new 2019 Honda Passport. Honda is not selling many of the new Passport SUVs and they are offering substantial discounts now that are not being advertised. According to CarsDirect, American Honda is offering up to $2,250 off the new Passport to move them off dealer lots.
The report says Honda is now giving dealers an unadvertised incentive worth up to $1,250 to help move the new American-made SUV out of the showrooms. If shoppers know how to negotiate, you might be able to get up to $2,250 in potential savings. It would be wise for customers to pit one dealer against another to get even more off the MSRP.

The Japanese automaker is giving dealers this extra incentive to sell more Passport models and they won’t tell you about it. Honda dealers have full discretion on how much if at all, to pass along, and they won’t give it to you unless you negotiate. Honda is offering the deal now through October 31 and involves up to $1,250 in dealer incentives on 2019 Honda Passport Sport trims and $750 toward EX-L, Touring, and Elite models.
If you are a returning customer and trading in your Honda vehicle, another $1,000 in loyalty discounts can be had. If you are trading in a 2009 or newer vehicle from a competing automaker you can also get this additional discount on a Passport.

Who should buy a Honda Passport?
The all-new Honda Passport is for those who think the CR-V is a little too small and underpowered, and for those who don’t need three rows of seating with the Honda Pilot. The benefits of the Passport are numerous, but they will really come to life for those who take their vehicle off-road and need to tow a trailer on the way there.
Think of the 2019 Honda Passport as the adventure vehicle for outdoor enthusiasts. It has an inch greater ground clearance, but with identical room inside as the bigger Pilot. (And some interior specs are even the same).
