New Honda Ridgeline Gets 5 Upgrades But Outgoing Model Is The Best Deal

Honda brings the 2020 Ridgeline and it gets new upgrades that make it better than the outgoing model. It gets more than a refresh and now comes with a new 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, Honda Sensing as standard equipment, a remote locking tailgate, and wider-opening rear doors for easier access. But the outgoing 2019 models are the best deal now.

If you don’t need the latest new 2020 Honda Ridgeline features, Honda is offering some extra incentives to move 2019 models off dealer lots. According to Cars Direct, Honda is offering mid-size truck buyers a great deal. They say the Japanese automaker is offering up to $4,000 in non-advertised discounts plus low-interest financing in an effort to clear remaining inventory.

2020 Honda Ridgeline

All 2019 Ridgeline trims are eligible for up to $4,000 off MSRP, $2,000 in dealer cash that is available but they may not tell you about. And also in December, Honda is offering an additional $2,000 in dealer cash on the Ridgeline Sport and an extra $1,500 off the better-equipped RTL. The discount can be combined with 0.9% financing for 72 months, making the 2019 Ridgeline the best deal on any Honda model in December.

Honda is offering the 2019 Ridgeline RT on a lease at $279 for 36 months with $2,999 at signing. If you apply the $2,000 discount to the down payment, it makes the Ridgeline the best mid-size truck deal in December.

2020 Honda Ridgeline

The 2020 Honda Ridgeline arrives on December 16 with a new trim structure. For the 2020 model change, Ridgeline comes in four trims; Sport, RTL, RTL-E, and Black Edition. Prices have gone up with Sport trim with the two-wheel-drive starting at $33,900 (excluding $1,095 destination and handling).

If you don’t want to wait for the newly-refreshed 2020 Honda Ridgeline, the best mid-size truck deal is on the outgoing 2019 Ridgeline.
