For shoppers around the country who plan to brave the long lines looking for those Black Friday deals, most will have to stand in the cold. But if you live near Denver, Colorado, Nissan is going to give shoppers an unexpected surprise. Nissan is actually joining Black Friday shoppers at the Colorado Mills outlet mall in Golden, CO. They will be offering comfort, shelter and assistance to crowds on the hunt for Christmas shopping deals beginning on Thanksgiving evening.
Sheltering Shoppers in Style
The Japanese automaker will be bringing a pair of new 2013 Nissan Altima sedans and a Nissan Quest minivan to the mall and provide a warm refuge as shoppers brave the long lines and cold. Shoppers will get their own personal assistant that will stand in line while they get to sit in one of three nice warm 2013 Nissan vehicles. Now that sounds like a good deal! Nissan will have members of their “on-the-ground” street team on hand to hold their place in line while shoppers drink hot beverages, receive hand warmers and blankets and get to sit in the new 2013 Nissans.
Brilliant marketing by Nissan
The Nissan “ground team” will also be on hand on Black Friday to give shoppers complimentary shuttle rides in the 2013 Altima sedans or the Quest minivan between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. They will offer shoppers assistance by shuttling them and all their good deals from the doors of various stores at Colorado Mills to their cars. This is a brilliant marketing tool by Nissan and should win over some new customers for the Denver area Nissan dealers.
Jon Brancheau, vice president, marketing, Nissan North America, Inc., said: "Both the Altima and Quest are equipped with segment-leading innovations, heated seats and plenty of cargo room - making them the perfect match to assist fatigued shoppers. Improving the shopping experience for Denver consumers on Black Friday is a great opportunity to expose people to Nissan's innovative products first-hand."
2013 Nissan innovative features
Black Friday is typically the busiest shopping day of the year and Nissan should have plenty of shoppers who take advantage of the Nissan ground team's offer. Many will be exposed to the Nissan products for the first time. The team will be there to tell them about the 2013 Altima’s new innovative features like the Easy Fill Tire System, Smart Auto Headlights and Next-Generation RearView Camera. The new 2013 Altima has a starting MSRP of $21,700 and features best-in-segment fuel economy of 38 mpg highway and a 5-star safety rating.
Shoppers will also get to warm up in the new 2013 Nissan Quest minivan. The new minivan features one-touch power sliding doors, quick-release fold-flat 2nd and 3rd row seats, Advanced Climate Control System, Easy Fill Tire Alert and a rear storage well, Quest pricing starts at $25,990.
For Black Friday shoppers who live near Denver, they will be getting royal treatment from Nissan. For the rest of the shoppers around the country, they will just have to stand in line and brave the cold without assistance from Nissan’s personal shopper assistance.
