Nissan’s new 2018 Nissan Frontier Midnight Edition mid-size pickups will be the most popular with millennials according to the Japanese automaker. Nissan knows this because their brand sells more vehicles to this age group (18-35) than any other automaker.
Billy Hayes, division vice president, Nissan Sales, Nissan North America, Inc. says, ”A great custom look straight from the factory is what buyers really appreciate. We're finding that buyers in the millennial age group especially are attracted to the Midnight Editions.” Hayes says Nissan was ranked the number one brand for millennial purchases in 2016.
Nissan also knows they need to build plenty of Frontier Midnight Editions in their Canton, Mississippi plant. The special edition models have also been especially popular with millennials. Nissan's Midnight Editions sell on average two times faster than standard models. The ME lineup also includes the Altima, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, Rogue and Sentra models.
Nissan will roll out the 2018 Frontier Midnight Edition with the special package that includes, gloss black grille, 18-inch gloss black aluminum-alloy wheels, semi-gloss black step rails, and body-color front and rear bumpers. It comes in three exteriors colors: Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and Glacier White.
Nissan says pricing has not been finalized, but the Midnight Edition package will provide customers with a significant discount versus if the special edition items were purchased separately. Nissan also brings the ME package on 2018 Titan and Titan XD models. 2018 Nissan Frontier, Titan and Titan XD Midnight Editions will be available in late fall 2017. Look for millennials to be the biggest buyers for the New 2018 Nissan Frontier Midnight Edition. Get more information on the special edition trucks here.
