In its eighth generation, the Nissan Maxima was completely revised for the 2016 model year. So for 2017, It gets only one minor enhancement. For a $50 increase in pricing, the 2017 Nissan Maxima now comes with standard Apple CarPlay iPhone connectivity. There's also two new custom packages available for Maxima buyers.
The 2017 Nissan Maxima is the first Nissan model in the lineup to add the standard Apple CarPlay iPhone connectivity. The only other changes to the Maxima 5-car lineup is the addition of two new accessory value packages. Nissan will offer the Medallion Package and Dynamic Package, joining the previous Midnight Edition. Maxima buyers can customize the Nissan flagship right from the dealership.
Pricing starts at $32,560 for the Maxima S model (+$50) not including destination ($835). The SV, SL and SR models also get a small $50 price bump. The top-of-the-line Platinum model only gets a $30 price increase. The base S model comes standard with a 300-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine, NissanConnectSM with Navigation featuring Apple CarPlay, 8.0-inch touch-screen display, luxury-style interior appointments, Remote Engine Start, and RearView Monitor.
The enhanced 2017 Nissan Maxima is arriving now at U.S. showrooms.
