The 2024 Subaru Outback Boost Gear that I wrote about recently, kicking it out of the park, just received a top award. Subaru Corporation knows how to dress up its concept cars. At the Tokyo International Custom Car Contest 2024 held at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, the Subaru Outback Boost Gear package won the best prize in the Dress Up SUV Division.
As I previously wrote, the Outback Boost Gear is a concept vehicle that won't be available for customers to buy. But it does give active customers what they can look forward to from the Japanese automaker in the future.

Subaru says, "The Subaru Outback Boost Gear package is a concept car customized with the Overlander theme (People who travel in vehicles, camp, and enjoy the outdoors).
Overlanding is getting further off the grid for those new to my reports. Subaru enthusiasts have been combining road trips and taking their vehicles to less-explored locations for decades. So it's familiar to long-time Subaru owners who, in the past, modified their all-wheel-drive Outback and Forester SUVs with lift kits, underbody protection, and larger wheels and tires.
What is Subaru thinking?
To discover what Subaru Corporation thinks, look at their new concept vehicles. The 2024 Subaru Outback Boost Gear package delivers the mods to customers in one package.
Subaru says, "The Outback Boost Gear concept car was customized with the theme of an Overlander that makes you want to go further, have more experiences, and play for longer."
Subaru also displayed a 2024 Subaru Forester Boost Gear package trim level I covered in a previous story.

What does it mean for active customers?
It's good news for outdoor enthusiasts because Subaru will continue building outdoor-themed models for its most active customers. Subaru now offers three Wilderness trim levels in the U.S. and Canada: the Outback, Forester, and Crosstrek Wilderness.
Subaru of America said we'll give our customers what they want—the rugged outdoor-themed Wilderness family. Check out my three Subaru Wilderness trim level reports here.

Outback owner, Iove the car…

Outback owner, Iove the car except very uncomfortable passenger seat (too low). These are cool add-ons, but they shouldn't have stolen a Nissan grill. Had to do a double take on the pic 🙂
