Tesla vehicles are as much automobiles on the road as they are tech products. Among other technological features, all Tesla vehicles come standard with a surround eight-camera system, a powerful computer to process the incoming video footage, and the option to save the video from any of the cameras at any time.

The cameras and the computers inside Tesla vehicles were initially only meant to serve self-driving purposes.

However, after Tesla introduced Sentry Mode back in 2019, the same eight autopilot cameras can now also be used as sophisticated dashcams that cover all angles of Tesla vehicles.
Time and again, criminal elements unaware of this fact have been filmed red-handed doing their nefarious activities around Tesla vehicles.
In the latest instance of such an incident, Sentry Mode footage shows a woman parking her white pickup truck in front of a Tesla Model S and another car.
The woman then walks around both vehicles, looking inside the windows. From the video, the woman appears to be looking for something she can steal.

However, after looking inside both vehicles, she did not see anything that interested her, so she proceeded to return back to her truck.
If the story ended here, this would have been good; however, the woman pulls out a box cutter from her truck and returns to the Tesla.
As you can see from the video, the woman completely destroys the paint of the parked Tesla Model S Plaid. Not only does she run her box cutter around the vehicle, but she also severely destroys the bumper.
The motivation behind this senseless act of vandalism is not clear. Whatever the case, the Tesla Model S Plaid owner revealed that the woman caused over $10,000 in damages.
Sharing this video, the owner asked the internet to reveal the woman’s identity. However, if justice being served is not enough of a motivation, the Tesla Model S Plaid owner also added a $1,000 bounty for anyone who gives information revealing the whereabouts of the woman.
Cops are useless.
