Tesla Cybertruck Spotted With Grafitti Paint and Mounted Mobile Starlink Receiver Hinting at a Possible SpaceX Package

A release candidate Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted driving around with a new sprayed-on graffiti paint job. The truck is also outfitted with a Starlink satellite internet receiver hinting at Tesla possibly offering a SpaceX package for the truck.

Tesla is testing several release candidate Cybertrucks before shipping the truck to customers. There are currently several Cybertruck prototypes undergoing testing out in the wild. These prototypes have been spotted all the way from Giga Texas where they are produced to California, Alaska, New Zealand, and everywhere in between.

Some prototypes are sporting the iconic naked stainless steel look of the Cybertruck. This is the look the truck will be delivered to customers in, however, in the meantime, Tesla has been having fun with different types of wraps on the various Cybertruck prototypes.

In a bit of friendly poking fun at what will most likely be two of its biggest competitors when the Cybertruck starts shipping, Tesla has outfitted two Cybertruck prototypes with a wrap that makes them appear like a Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra.

There have also been several Cybertrucks spotted all around the world with light and dark camouflage wraps which make the trucks look like military vehicles from the future.

All these wraps have made anticipation for the Cybertruck even bigger and today a new Cybertruck prototype has been spotted with what appears to be sprayed on graffiti paint.

As you can see from the picture below, the sprayed-on paint Spells “Cybertruck” in the original font Tesla used when introducing the truck back in 2019.

Due to its stainless steel exterior, Tesla has said the Cybertruck will not get any paint, however, the wraps and sprayed-on paint suggest that owners will have several options to personalize their trucks to their own taste.

The “Cybertruck” graffiti painted Cybertruck was exciting to see on its own. However, the truck also has an additional never-before-seen feature. On the top of the truck, you can see SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet receiver mounted on the truck’s roof.

If you happen to be unfamiliar, Starlink provides low-latency internet by using thousands of satellites in low earth orbit which give individuals internet speeds as high as 1 gigabit per second.

The Starlink venture is owned by SpaceX which is Elon Musk’s space venture that operates under the motto – making humanity a multi-planetary species.

SpaceX yesterday announced that after building out the Starlink satellite constellation for years, the company is now able to provide internet to every single part of the continental United States. With this announcement, it means, that if Tesla offers a Starlink package with the Cybertruck, then the vehicle will be able to access the internet anywhere whether deep in the forest or the city.

This will make the Cybertruck an even more capable off-roading vehicle than the truck is already shaping up to be. Currently, this is the only sign that Tesla is planning to install Starlink receivers on a Cybertruck however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted if we learn more about Tesla’s plans.
