There’s no denying that the choice for new sedans and SUVs can be bewildering to say the least. However, smart shoppers focus on two of the most important factors when it comes to a final decision---reliability and price.

To help you make a smart and informed purchase decision, car experts from Consumer Reports recently identified the most reliable new cars and SUVs you can buy for less than $30,000. Their selections are based on each models’ predicted reliability rating, in addition to car owner surveys’ of those models they have owned and enjoyed for a long time.

Not only that, but CR analysts’ recommendations also include those models that “…come standard with automatic emergency braking (AEB), while AEB that works at highway speeds, blind spot warning (BSW), and rear cross traffic warning (RCTW) either come standard or as options that don’t push the price above $30,000.”
