Donald Trump Mistakenly Thinks Elon Musk Is Giving Him $45 Million/Month For Electric Vehicles

In a speech, Donald Trump mentioned that Elon Musk was giving him $45 million per month for electric vehicles. However, this is not true, as Elon Musk has stated himself.

Donald Trump - Elon Musk Is Giving Me $45 Million/Month

In a recent speech, Donald Trump was talking about Elon Musk and electric vehicles.

Donald Trump is not anti-EV, actually. He thinks they are great, but he doesn't think they are for everyone, as he said in his speech.

He also said that EVs don't go far enough and people need the option to buy gas cars.

There are EVs, like the new Model 3 RWD Long Range, that has 363 miles of range and that is plenty of range, but I don't think Donald Trump is aware that this vehicle exists.

The all-wheel drive Model S has 402 miles of range, which is a lot of range. There are many other EVs available today that have a range greater than 300 miles.

So, the talk of EVs not being able to go far enough is starting to become a moot point as battery technology improves and EVs can go farther and father - even if they don't quite perform as well in the cold as a gas car.

The Statement Is False: Elon Musk Says So Himself

Elon Musk confirmed himself that he is NOT giving Donald Trump $45 million per month. What better source to go to than the actual person who is being claimed to be giving Donald Trump $45 million per month...

Now that we know this statement is false, we can clearly see that Donald Trump simply read this statement somewhere and believed it.

Now, where the source is of this statement is an interesting one to follow. Supposedly it came from the Biden-Harris campaign, but I doubt either of them had any knowledge of it being created. Most likely, those being paid for the campaign created it to stir up drama.

Of course, I could be wrong here, and Elon Musk may actually be paying Donald Trump $45 million per month, but the evidence suggests otherwise.

If Donald Trump takes office, more than likely, the EV mandates and the $7,500 EV tax credit are going to go away. I think it's a good thing if this goes away, actually. The U.S. needs to pay down its debt, and incurring more debt is not going to be helpful.

Regardless of who is president, Tesla is going to continue to innovate in its full self-driving and its EV technology, making better and better EVs.

As time goes on, it's going to become glaringly obvious that an EV is the superior choice for anyone.
