Germany Condemns Attack on Tesla Giga Berlin

There were some eco terrorists who cut off the power to Tesla's Giga Berlin, to which Elon Musk called this one of the dumbest things someone could do. Germany condemns this attack, calling it "a form of terrorism."

Eco Terrorists Cut Off Power to Giga Berlin

Breaking News: GERMANY CONDEMNS ATTACK ON TESLA GIGAFACTORY BERLIN - Calling the attack “a form of terrorism,”

German politician Dietmar Woidke said: “It is obviously a serious attack on our critical infrastructure with consequences for thousands of people as well as many small and large businesses in our country.”

Left-wing extremists, the Vulkan Group, have claimed responsibility for the attack, stating they wanted to “shut down Tesla.” The power supply has now been restored to the Gigafactory.

These "eco protestors" did the following:

Eco protesters set fire to a nearby transformer, causing the plant to lose power and bringing production to a standstill.

Police found a bomb warning attached to a protester's tent next to the burning transformer, warning, "Ordnance buried here!"

The factory has been evacuated, and a bomb disposal team is investigating.

Why They Are Doing It and Why It Makes No Sense

These eco terrorists are likely doing this because they don't agree with Tesla as a company, with Elon Musk, or something about how Tesla is running their Giga Factory in Berlin. There could also be a competing interest from these "eco terrorists" because of them being part of some competing company to Tesla.

Regardless of the reason, they wouldn't be sabotaging Tesla unless they felt like they had a justifiable reason - even if that reason is completely wrong.

It makes no sense because Tesla is moving the world to energy independence, not relying on gas and oil from other companies needing to be imported. Solar and batteries will help the world transition to sustainable and green energy.

Elon Musk had this to say about it:

These are either the dumbest eco-terrorists on Earth or they’re puppets of those who don’t have good environmental goals. Stopping production of electric vehicles, rather than fossil fuel vehicles, ist extrem dumm.

With fossil fuels being polluting AND finite in quantity, I tend to agree with Elon Musk's statement here. Why stop the transition to something better unless you have a competing interest, or just want to see things go bad?
