Cybertruck - Becoming a Next Generation Police Car
The Cybertruck is the ultimate police car, no question, with its bulletproof stainless steel exoskeleton. It also boasts a very durable frame that can handle collisions.
Unplugged performance, a company known for providing 3rd party accessories to Tesla vehicles, such as rim and tire upgrades, and even armored accessories for the Cybertruck, just released a post showing 18 inches "UP.FIT" forged Cybertruck wheels.

These wheels are big, strong, durable, and rugged, giving the Cybertruck an additional dimension of durability and ability to withstand pressure. I would imagine that getting one of these tires to pop would require quite a bit of extra effort due to thick tread surrounding it.
Unplugged performance has this to say about part of their strategy with Tesla vehicles - and vehicles in general:
We're building and deploying the ultimate next-generation police vehicles with our UP.FIT division. Check out our latest addition: UP.FIT Forged 18" wheels designed with inspiration from steelies but modernized for maximum strength & efficiency.

Next Generation Police Vehicles
The next generation of police vehicles are being enabled with the accessories that are being offered here. There are big, thick, rims and tires, armored plates and add-ons, and a host of options being offered.
The biggest question that comes to my mind is will a police force be able to afford all of this. I would imagine that a police force would not have multiple Cybertrucks, but maybe one Cybertruck decked out in armored gear for instances that is needed, and then the rest of its fleet being regular police cars.
Because the Cybertruck is in its "Foundation Series" delivery set right now, it's unknown when Tesla will stop offering these higher priced versions. Since demand is still strong for them, I think Tesla will keep the higher price until demand shows that it's only a month or two away from handling all deliveries. Then Tesla will lower the price.

Unplugged Performance is the only major 3rd party Cybertruck police car accessories company that I've seen, but more are bound to show up with the success this company is having.
What will come next from this company? Will there be EMP protection? Will there be additional electronics offered that can be attached to the vehicle?
Time will tell on this, but one thing is certain - the Cybertruck is the ultimate and next generation police car for those police forces that can afford it.
