Cybertruck Production Getting Close to 100 Per Day
The latest drone videos from Giga Texas, brought to you via Joe Tegtmeyer, show over 100 Cybertrucks in the parking lot at Giga Texas now - about 106 to be exact. This is a sign that Cybertruck production is approaching 100 per day.
Why would I think Cybertruck production would be at 100 per day? The reason is that Cybertruck are not going to be in the parking lot for long. The demand for Foundation Series Cybertrucks is through the end of the year. Each Cybertruck needs to be inspected and then driven off the lot to be delivered.
It's possible in some rare cases that people go to Giga Texas to get their Cybertruck, but I would think that is an exception to the rule.

Tesla was likely getting to 50 Cybertrucks per day at the end of December in 2023. Now that we are approaching the end of February, Tesla is getting close to 100 per day.
Production is an exponential curve. It's going to appear that production is slow at first like it is now, and then we're going to see multiple hundreds of Cybertrucks in the parking lot before you know it.

From 100 to How Many Over This Year?
Let's assume that Tesla gets to a 100 per day production rate of Cybertrucks by the end of February 2024. That would be double the amount from December 2023.
Production is exponential, therefore, in three months, it's reasonable to expect 200 per day at the end of May 2024. Why three months? Because Cybertruck production started on December 1, 2023, giving it three months to reach 100 per day by the end of February 2024.
In another three months, it would be reasonable to expect 400 per day, in August 2024.
It's quite possible that in November 2024, production will be at 800 per day.
By the end of the year, I think Tesla could get close to 1,000 Cybertrucks per day, putting the rough run rate at 365,000 per year. Of course, if Tesla does this, it shows they were sandbagging production of the Cybertruck.
Even if Tesla gets only half of this production, they've reached a respectable 182,500 per year run rate of Cybertrucks.
Did you know that the Cybertruck is equal to about 9 or 10 Tesla PowerWalls?

It's significant if Tesla reaches multiple hundreds of thousands of Cybertrucks by the end of the year. This shows that Tesla can take a new and complex vehicle and get it to a very high level of volume production.
This would mean nearly a couple of hundred thousand Foundation Series Cybertrucks before the end of the year - or more.
I see the price of the Cybertruck going back down to the normal advertise prices - the non Foundation Series prices, which are about $20,000 less than what the truck sells for now.

What do you think about Tesla's Cybertruck production at Giga Texas? Will they get to a couple of hundred thousands this year?
