Tesla Is Removing The Steering Wheel Nag
The steering wheel nag, which is something that comes with FSD, is a flashing blue screen and message that says to interact with the steering wheel. If you don't interact with the steering wheel, the system will shut down FSD and pull over to the side of the road and stop.

The removal of this feature is important because it means Tesla is confident in the future of FSD and the driver not having to do as much interaction with the vehicle while it is active.
In fact, most of my FSD drives right now don't require much interaction at all. Occasionally the system will do something and I have to take over, but for the most part, having to touch the wheel is a nuisance and not needed, even in the current version, 12.3.6.

The System Is Not Yet Autonomous
Even with the removal of the steering wheel nag in version 12.4, which I see coming by the end of May, the system is not yet autonomous and requires supervision. If your eyes are not on the road, Tesla will still flash a message to pay attention to the road with an audible sound.

However, Elon Musk has referenced versions 12.5 and 12.6, and I believe by version 13, we will start to see driverless Tesla vehicles that require no interaction - or being able to ride in your own Tesla without having to pay attention to the road - and I believe this will happen before the end of 2024!
