Honda holds Civic Hatchback September 2016 MSRP for the new year

With last week’s official posting of 2017 Honda Hatchback and EPA fuel efficiency results, I find Honda Civic Hatchback to be surprisingly affordable. Honda will hold Civic Hatchback's September 2016 estimated MSRP for the new year. Cool!

After driving Honda’s first turbocharged 5-door Civic Sport Hatchback on the streets of San Francisco, California, I declared this Honda Civic to be the most powerful, refined and road worthy offering in the mark’s 44 year history -- not much of a stretch.

Last year with the late arrival of the manufactured in the U.K. hatchback, Civic set an all-time annual sales record with 366,927 units sold. -- that’s a lot of Civics.

Honda holds Civic Hatchback’s September 2016 MSRP

The first month of 2017 will not bring a price increase for Honda’s latest Civic offering. With a beginning MSRP of $19,700, this not so basic -- 6 speed manually shifted and turbocharged 5-door hatchback comes to market claims a very respectable 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft torque. The icing on the cake for this Honda fan is the E.P.A. stated 30 city and 39 highway MPG for a combined 33 MPG - the highest fuel efficiency in the segment.
