As predicted earlier by Honda-Torque News, 2016 Civic carries forward Honda’s next generation design DNA as punctuated by the all new 2016 Honda Pilot, refreshed 2016 Accord and 2016 HR-V. The front facia, grill, window and roof line design cue is unmistakably Honda, with a twist: 2016 Civic presented in any trim variant is very grown up, yet retains a bit of edgy!
Day or night, recognizably Honda
Although 10th generation Civic has gained an inch or two in all the right places,( greater rear legroom, wider track) it does remain a compact car. When viewed side by side with the 2016 Honda Accord, one does note a difference in dimension, yet the visual quality of fit and finish is evident.
When viewing Civic, we see no corners cut as to quality here. Take note Toyota, this body design is unique to Honda, the front end and tail design is well balanced, distinct and functional. Great lighting!

1.5 Liter Turbocharged Earth Dreams technology
2016 will bring the most technically dynamic, safest and fun to drive Civic in American Honda history. From the entry level Civic sedan to the Civic Touring sedan and soon to arrive Civic Si coupe, every 10th generation Civic variant will present a much refined drive and ride experience, greater acceleration, midrange torque and fuel efficiency.(40 mpg + highway)
Lower roof line, same road clearance
Honda Torque News has received a few comments from concerned Honda fans as to a “lower” Civic sedan. Standing here at the drive event, we’re not seeing it. What we see in 2016 Honda Civic sedan is a world-compact-platform body line compatible to the upcoming Civic Hatchback variant.
While Honda engineering tells us that the roofline is -1inch in the rear seating compartment, it appears that the 40/60 split bench has been adjusted accordingly. As we walked away from the line up, i overheard a lot attendent state: " I'll take my 2016 Civic Touring in siver please! Good choice, we’ll keep you posted.

So how did the ride and drive event go, Parks? What are your impressions of the all-new 2016 Civic? Does it drive like an Audi A3 (Honda says they benchmarked the A3)?
Thank you.
