Automotive News (Subscription Required) spoke with Rolf Frech, Bentley's board member for engineering who said the automaker is exploring the option of new sedan that would sit above the Mulsanne. The model would not wear the Mulsanne name and would be produced in very limited numbers - around 50 to 100.
"That doesn't mean we then have to make a bigger car than the Mulsanne. But maybe there are some possibilities for additional edges in this exclusive realm."
Just how exclusive Bentley is talking about remains to be seen. Their bespoke Mulliner division already gives customers the ability to do anything to their vehicle.
Frech also revealed that Bentley is close to a decision on whether or not it will go forward with bring the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept. It seems the coupe is a go as Frech said it "is a matter not of if but when'.
