Land Rover Classic has announced the Range Rover Reborn which will refurbish a series one Range Rover into pristine condition. The first Range Rover Reborn will be making its debut at the Rétromobile classic car show in Paris is a 1978 model. Painted in Bahama Gold, the model was brought back to its original specs including the Buick-derived 3.5L V8 producing 132 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. This is connected with a four-speed manual driving all four wheels with a lockable central differential.
Like the Series 1 Reborn vehicles Land Rover Classic did last year, the Range Rover Reborn models will be based on carefully selected candidates and brought back to their original factory specifications. Including the one being shown at Rétromobile, Land Rover Classic will only build 10 models.
The cost? £135,000 (about $170,000).
