Known as R8 V10 Plus Selection 24H, Audi will only build 24 of these special models. The Selection 24H pays homage to the GT3 racer by being finished in Suzuka Grey with Misano Red. This mimics the racing livery used by Audi on the R8 GT3. Various exterior pieces such as the front splitter, side-view mirrors, and rear wing are finished in gloss carbon fiber. Other touches include forged 20-inch wheels finished in black and an “R8 24H” logo on the car’s sideblades. The interior features gloss carbon fiber for the air vents and extended inlays surrounding the Audi virtual cockpit system. The illuminated door sill trims will feature the serial number of each Selection 24H.
In terms of mechanical changes, the R8 V10 Plus Selection 24H features a new dynamic steering system, adaptive damper control system for Audi magnetic ride, and laser light headlights. Audi has left the 5.2L V10 alone. This is ok as 610 horsepower should be enough for the lucky folks who decide to plop down the 229,000 Euros (about $261,714).
