Last week, Volvo released a video showing a small part of the V90 Cross Country's front end going over some rocks. There is a more rugged front bumper, but other V90 details such as the distinctive headlights and grille are there. The video also says the V90 Cross Country will feature new chassis technology.
This week, Volvo on their various social channels published a teaser shot showing off the new Cross Country underneath a sheet. The picture tells us that it will feature a raised ride height - possibly an adjustable suspension.
We're guessing the V90 Cross Country will share powertrains with the standard V90. That means a range of gas and diesel engines for Europe, and the T5 and T6 gas engines for the U.S. The plug-in hybrid T8 is a possibility. All engine will be teamed with all-wheel drive.
We'll likely learn when Volvo plans on launching the V90 Cross Country in due course.
