When Jeep redesigned the Jeep Grand Cherokee last year, it promised that the new SUV would be the benchmark for vehicles. It was already the most awarded SUV ever, and new for 2023 the Jeep Grand Cherokee is raising the bar even higher. The 2023 family of Jeep Grand Cherokees is offering two new premium sound systems.
2023 Jeep Grand Cherokees
Jeep has expanded the popular SUV lineup to include a three-row extended Jeep Grand Cherokee L, as well as an electrified version called the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. All of the versions will offer the ability to upgrade the sound system.
New for 2023:
Jeep will offer the Uconnect 5 Navigation system with 10.1-in. digital touchscreen standard on Limited and Overland models. The most advanced infotainment system will give drivers more “bang for the buck.”
Jeep will offer a nine-speaker Alpine audio system available as standalone option upgrade on the Limited model.
For music lovers, Jeep will make a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system available as standalone option on Overland and Summit models. In other words, on the upgraded trim, you can order an incredible sound system. The state-of-the-art McIntosh system features custom-designed speakers complete with a 10-inch subwoofer. The system kicks out 950 watts of power with a 17-channel amplifier. The Jeep brand is currently the only automotive manufacturer in the world to carry a McIntosh sound system.
The Jeep also features wireless Apple CarPLay and Android Auto. Jeep has worked for years to ensure an intuitive user experience.
The Uconnect 5 also offers up to three 10.1-inch and two 10.25-inch digital displays in the cabin. A segment-exclusive front passenger screen allows the passenger to help with navigation and camera viewing. However, the passenger also has the ability to watch something entirely different, like videos, on the personalized screen without distracting the driver.
Premium Sound System Also Available on Jeep Grand Cherokee L and 4xe
The premium sound system will also be available as an option for the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. Imagine listening to 19 different speakers out on the trail, while the SUV is virtually silent, operating on EV power. Not to mention all of the fun it will be to have the premium sound system when the driver is out at a campfire or tailgate with friends.
Much like the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the nine-speaker Alpine audio system is available as an option on the Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited model. The over-the-top 19-speaker McIntosh audio system is available as an option on Overland and Summit models.
