2025 Cadillac Escalade Adds Even More Luxury and Technology

The Cadillac Escalade has always represented the top of the line for luxury SUVs. Cadillac continues that tradition with the refreshed and upgraded 2025 model.

The Cadillac Escalade continues to push the envelope when it comes to luxury. The newly refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade has a curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch total diagonal display screen, available power open-and-close doors, and an available Executive Second Row package that features stowable tray tables.

“The Escalade has always been about bold American craftsmanship, technology and performance, and has continuously raised the standard of full-size SUV luxury since it was introduced 25 years ago,” said John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac. “The Escalade franchise has defined Cadillac for five generations. As the best-selling luxury full-size SUV in North America since 2014, and with more than 1 million units sold globally, the expansion of the portfolio to include a refreshed Escalade and the all-new all-electric ESCALADE IQ later this year positions the brand well to offer an Escalade that meets the needs of all customers.”

Design Tweaks that Channel Some of the Cadillac EVs

The front end of the new Cadillac Escalade appears bolder and includes some of the upgraded lighting that will be used on the Cadillac Escalade IQ EV later this year. The Escalade’s new lighting looks more blade-like and vertical, making the vehicle more recognizable as a Cadillac. Buyers are also able to order larger wheels for the Escalade, making it look even more commanding.

What is Special About the Executive Second Row Package?

The executive second row package is designed around the people who need to do work or schoolwork in the second row. Not only does the package include the stowable tray tables, but the passengers also have 12.6-inch personal screens, dual wireless phone charging pads, massaging seats and speakers in the headrests. Imagine how nice it would be if a person could actually get work done on a road trip, or if a student could get homework done on the way to a travel hockey or soccer game.

“Escalade is about being bold, arriving with style, and making a statement. The 2025 Escalade continues the design story introduced in the 2021 Escalade, but with thoughtful and dramatic updates that showcase the best of what Cadillac has to offer,” said Vicente Beire, lead designer, 2025 Cadillac Escalade.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade’s Open-and-Close Doors

Lots of brands have doors that unlock when you approach the vehicle with the key fob. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade’s doors can be programmed to open as you approach. You can even program the doors with how wide you want them to open. Sensors will make sure the doors don’t hit anything as they open. All four doors power open and close at the touch of a button on the door handle or from the command center, and if activated, the driver’s door will automatically open as the driver approaches with the key fob.

Other 2025 Cadillac Escalade Features:

  • Seating available for up to eight total passengers, with a power folding third row which folds flat for more storage
  • 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque
  • A 19-speaker audio system standard, with available 36-speaker system, which increases to 40 speakers with Executive Second Row package
  • Standard Super Cruise driver assistance technology
  • Passenger entertainment options include HD streaming and browser compatibility, so customers can log into any streaming app and watch
  • Available Night Vision

“Escalade has always been a leader in innovation and technology, starting with the 1999 Escalade offering the safety and convenience of OnStar hardware as standard equipment. The 2025 Escalade features the best technology of what Cadillac has to offer,” said Martin Hayes, Escalade chief engineer.

The 2025 Escalade Promises an Even Smoother Ride

The Escalade has an independent front and rear suspension making the ride even smoother.

“The 2025 Escalade continues many elements our customers expect, including both ride and seating comfort, passenger seating capacity, and cargo space and flexibility, as well as Cadillac’s ride and handling philosophy,” said Hayes.
