Chrysler is Teasing a New Electric Car Concept

We’ll get a much better idea next week what Chrysler is planning for its electric future. The brand is selling down its remaining Chrysler 300s that ended production at the end of 2023 and also its popular 2024 Chrysler Pacifica minivans. Now, it is promising some excitement. The concept is supposed to be unveiled next week on February 13, 2024.

High Level Chrysler Unveiling

Chris Feuell, the Chrysler brand chief executive officer, will be involved in the unveiling. Chrysler is also promising to release two more images of the BEV before we see the whole vehicle next week. Chrysler has talked at length about a mid-size SUV that will be built on the STLA medium frame. That SUV was initially known as the Chrysler Airflow. The company has said the name will be changed because the actual vehicle debuts.

This is the first time that the Chrysler brand has publicly discussed an electric car. It would make sense that it will be built on the STLA Large frame just like the planned Dodge Daytona Charger BEV that is promised for 2025. The Dodge electric muscle car is being built to replace the outgoing 2023 Dodge Chargers and Challengers that were phased out at the end of 2023. Stellantis has closed the Brampton, Ontario plant that built the Chrysler 300 as well as the Dodge Challengers and Chargers for retooling. Stellantis has not said exactly what vehicles will be built there in the future.

Chrysler says it will release another tease on Friday and on Monday.
