The annual SEMA show for all things automotive runs from Oct 26 to November 2, 2018. The Las Vegas trade show offers a huge sampling of what is available in the estimated $43 billion dollar aftermarket. With more than 50 vehicles on exhibit, Ford will feature the largest original equipment manufacturer display at SEMA. Ford will also offer an interactive experience from Ford Out Front, offering attendees a ride in a Ford performance vehicle on a closed course and chances to meet racing personalities across various series. The Ford Mustang is one of the most customized. There will be at least five spectacular 2018 Ford Mustangs on display, giving you an idea of what you can do with aftermarket parts and a lot of ingenuity.
The CGS Motorsports Mustang GT is sure to be a favorite
It has a sinister edge but is still tasteful. The CGS Mustang GT features huge 410-millimeter rotors combined with six-piston Brembo calipers guaranteeing that you will be able to stop the Ford Performance/Roush supercharged racer running a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine. You will definitely be able to see this beauty at night, thanks to unique LED lighting from a complete conversion by Diode Dynamics to Rigid undercar lighting.
CJ Pony Parts 5.0-liter supercharged Drifting Mustang GT will mesmerize with its Taunting “Smoke Show”
CJ Pony Parts promises an American tribute with a metallic twist for this 700-plus-horsepower 2018 Mustang GT. This thoroughbred features Stars and Stripes livery in custom dark shadow gray paint with copper accents including a Watson Racing roll cage in copper. The build showcases a Ford Performance supercharger and follows through with hard-core body and suspension upgrades to deliver a true drift beast. The “Smoke Show” also builds off the 2018 Mustang GT fastback featuring a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine.
TJIN Edition EcoBoost Mustang promises to take turbo-charged fun to the next level in a dazzling purple
This 2018 Mustang is the only EcoBoost®-powered SEMA show car. The TJIN Edition features a hypnotic Electric Purple paint job combined with rivet style to create a memorable Mustang. An adjustable air suspension provides a slammed look when desired while still showcasing the Forgeline center-lock 20’s wheels. This is no slow pony, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost kicks out plenty of power with a high-performance turbo kit from Full-Race with upgrades by BorgWarner.
Galpin Auto Sports takes Mustang GT to the track with its wide-body inspired road racer
If flames are more your style, this Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) build boasts an aggressive yet sleek, wide body design, with additional downforce measures incorporated into the front splitter, side rockers, and rear diffuser. The team included the very best Ford Performance parts to up the street cred with big horsepower and a full track-focused suspension. The road racing inspired Galpin Mustang also builds off the 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine.
Bojix Design Mustang GT brings both flash and dash
If the purple was a big too much for you, perhaps a flashy blue is more your style. This 2018 Mustang GT is far from subtle and is also sure to draw crowds. Bojix is promising us another showstopper in two-tone blue and gray with wide 20-inch Savini wheels. Don’t plan on taking any passengers, this Mustang has deleted the rear seat and upgraded the aero elements to emphasize this pony car is both show and go.
SEMA boasts that it has more than 2,400 exhibiting companies. People come from all over the world to attend the show. You will see various television shows broadcasting events. It is huge in area, scope and influence. I’ve attended and loved it.
