People who like to go off-roading typically like to go hiking as well. There is nothing more beautiful than enjoying the great outdoors away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Unless, it is going off-roading in your brand new free Jeep Wrangler. Now, Jeep, the best-known name in off-roading, is joining forces with one of the best-known names in hiking boots, Merrell. Merrell is giving away a new Jeep Wrangler to celebrate the launch of the Merrell Moab 3 Mid x Jeep.
"Adventure meets adventure with the Merrell Moab 3 Mid x Jeep collab, and we're thrilled to work with an iconic partner like the Jeep brand whose legacy has so much alignment to our own history on the trail," said Merrell Senior Director of Brand Marketing Lindsey Lindemulder. "The Jeep brand has a loyal fan base similar to Merrell, and these boots have on- and off-road capability for you to navigate any journey with confidence."
"Moab, Utah, is the Jeep brand's preeminent playground, and it's only fitting we honor it with the landmark designs featured in the Merrell Moab 3 Mid x Jeep," said Kim Adams House, head of licensing & merchandising – all brands, Stellantis. "The craftsmanship you expect, know and love in our vehicles is matched in this trail-rated boot."
Merrell Offering Free Jeep Wrangler Contest
To celebrate the launch, Merrell is running a Jeep Wrangler giveaway. Merrell stresses there is no purchase necessary to enter and only one entry is allowed per person. The sweepstakes will open Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, and runs through Monday, Nov. 6, 2023. Residents of the U.S., Canada, Peru and Panama are eligible for entry.
Merrell is not giving details on how to enter the contest at this point, but people who are interested are encouraged to register for notifications about the hiking boot at merrell.com/jeep. The limited-run Merrell Moab 3 Mid x Jeep brand boot will be available for purchase on Mon., Oct. 16, 2023, in both men's and women's sizes.
Similar Attitudes for Conquering Mother Nature
Jeep has built its reputation for being tough enough to handle any terrain and Merrell has a similar reputation for being rugged enough to withstand any obstacle in nature. Both brands excel in performance.
Merrell is even playing off Jeep’s habit of using Easter eggs in Jeep Wrangler 4x4s.
Special Jeep features on the hiking boots include:
- Custom Rubicon badging, representing the most capable Wrangler for the world's best-selling hiking boot
- Red "tow" lace hooks, representing the red tow hooks on the Wrangler Rubicon
- Hiking boots available in three Jeep 4x4 colors - Sarge Green, Sting Grey and Hydro Blue
- Metal lace hardware, representing the latches on the Jeep 4x4 hood
