Not only do people love their Jeep and Ram vehicles but the vehicles are in high demand in the used market as well. Kelley Blue Book is out with its list of vehicles that continue to hold their value and both Jeep and Ram scored extremely well. Nice to know that if you buy a 2021 Jeep Wrangler, 2021 Jeep Gladiator or 2021 Ram truck, you can get top dollar for it. All three placed in the top ten for holding their value.
“Shoppers who choose to buy a 2021 model from one of our Best Resale Value Brand winners can be very confident that their vehicle will retain its value well over time,” said Eric Ibara, director of residual values for Kelley Blue Book.
Jeep Wrangler
The Jeep Wrangler is a stand-out in the best resale value category. This year, the Wrangler scores in two categories. The Wrangler is on the Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Top Ten list for the 11th year in a row. Have you priced a used one lately? My niece was trying to get one for her son who just got his license. Even Wranglers that are 15 to 20 years old draw surprisingly high prices. The Jeep Wrangler also landed the top spot for Best Resale Value in the Off-Road SUV category for the third year in a row. It’s always nice to make the list but especially nice to headline it in the top spot.
Jeep Gladiator
The Jeep Gladiator repeats as a Top 10 Best Resale Value Award winner for the second consecutive year. This is especially important because the Gladiator has only been out for two years. It proves that the vehicle is well received and in demand.
Ram 1500 and Ram 2500/3500 Pickups
The Ram 1500 and the Ram 2500/3500 trucks are making the Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Award list for the second straight year. In such a strong, competitive truck market, it is great that the vehicle holds its value well. So many workers invest heavily in their trucks and really use them as their mobile offices. It is important that the significant investment pays off for them.
Kelley Blue Book
The Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Awards honor the vehicles that best retain their value for the first five years. For years, the Kelley Blue Book has served as the used vehicle bible, giving potential buyers a price range to expect to pay for a pre-owned car or truck. It lets shoppers know approximately how much they should be paying so they aren’t being price gouged.
