Mopar says it is all charged up for 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. It is a huge aftermarket show for the automotive industry and a chance for suppliers to show how every vehicle can be personalized and customized. Mopar released three sketches of concept vehicles for the show which runs November 1-4. Fans of the 2022 Ram 1500 will be anxious to see what Mopar has planned.
The Ram Truck Concept
Ram is typically one of the most important vehicles for Mopar at the SEMA show. Mopar has created all sorts of concepts in the past, upgrading the popular Ram trucks. Many of Mopar combinations end up being offered as packages straight from the factory. The first sketch shows a boldly colored Ram truck, which appears to be white with bright yellow and black trim. The concept has what appears to be a major hood scoop and three orange lights. Mopar did not offer any explanations.
The second Ram sketch may or may not be the same vehicle. Again, Mopar offered no details about the parts or upgrades. This Ram is riding on huge tires with a significant lift kit. It shows a bed topper that fits over where the Ram Boxes would normally be. The truck seems to have a similar white body with black and bright yellow trim. The sketches are done by two different people. One sketch is signed by Matt Hilburn and the other is signed by Vandervoord.
The Jeep Surge Concept Sketch
The bright orange Jeep is called the Surge and it bears a small EV badge. It is shown without doors, has large black fenders and is significantly lifted. While it is styled like a Wrangler, Jeep is not confirming what this EV concept may be.
Mopar Celebrating 85 Years
Mopar is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year. A simple combination of the words MOtor and PARts, Mopar creates aftermarket products for Jeep, Ram, Chrysler and Dodge products. At SEMA, Mopar will show how its hundreds of factory-backed products can be used to customize and personalize vehicles. Mopar will have a 15,345-square-foot exhibit in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
