Ram is giving its fans an inside look at the all-new 2025 Ram REV EV pickup that is due to go into production next year as a 2025 model. Ram has a lot riding on the new model. Ford already has its Lightning out; the Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV are due out late this year. GMC has its HUMMER EV supertruck on the market but that is seen as more of a niche vehicle. The real competition will be in the full-size pickup truck market, just like in the gas-powered pickup truck arena.
A spokesperson named Ariana gives the latest on the 2025 Ram REV EV.
2025 Ram 1500 REV
The all-new pickup has some impressive numbers. The truck will be available will 500 miles of range and be able to tow up to 14,000 pounds. The all-new truck will be able haul a payload of up to 2,700 pounds and be able to add 110 miles of range in just ten minutes. Ram doesn’t mention it in the video but supposedly there will also be another model called the Ram 1500 REV XR available later with what it is calling “class-shattering range”.
The truck is expected to have a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds, 654 horsepower and 620 lb.-ft. of torque. It should have up to 24 inches of water fording, good news for all of the potential off-roaders.
2025 Ram REV’s Other Popular Amenities
The frunk will have a class-leading 15 cubic feet of space for plenty of protected storage.
The video provides some interesting details and video of the truck’s premium interior. The driver will have a 14.5-inch touchscreen with plenty of different pages that can be customized. The infotainment system will be the latest Uconnect 5. The passenger will also have a 10.25-inch touchscreen that can also be personalized. The driver will have a digital rearview mirror and Head-up Display (HUD).
The Ram REV will feature 24-way heated and cooled, ventilated, leather, massaging seats. The premium interior will also feature a 23-speaker Klipsch sound system.
Ariana reiterated the initial Stellantis mantra about the EV pickup. “The 2025 Ram 1500 REV was not designed to be the first electric pickup truck, it was designed to be the best electric pickup truck."
