Ram’s biggest news this week was all about the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. As I reported earlier, the company built up the truck’s arrival with a number of teases and really surprised fans with the truck’s suggested price. The all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, with 540 horsepower, offers the best value with more horsepower per dollar ($129.60 per HP) than any other light-duty off-road truck at $69,995. However, Ram also announced a new special-edition 2025 Ram Rebel X to celebrate a decade of Rebel. The limited-edition Rebel X is designed to dominate the trails while offering some exclusive equipment.
“Ram is all about offering the choice of more power, performance, capability with a unique combination of bold styling, durability and customized performance straight from the factory,” said Tim Kuniskis, Ram brand CEO – Stellantis. “This is the most off-road models Ram has offered, and it’s a group that doesn’t stand at attention but doesn’t mind going out and getting some attention either.”
2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X
New for 2025, the Ram 1500 Rebel X package continues the performance that made the Rebel a legendary truck. The Rebel X trim comes equipped with the Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group. Rebel X includes Uconnect 5 with a huge 14.5-inch touchscreen, dual-pane sunroof, power tailgate and heated front and rear seats. The Rebel X also has a heated steering wheel and dual wireless charging. Music fans will love the 19-speaker Harman Hardon premium sound system.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel also features a class-exclusive 10.25-inch passenger touchscreen. The screen is only visible to the front passenger. It allows the passenger to run a navigation system, view the truck’s outside cameras or simply watch their own entertainment.
People who love off-roading will be amazed by the new Rough Road Cruise Control feature, available exclusively on Rebel X. The Rough Road Cruise Control allows the driver to set a cruise speed on a rugged, dirt road. The new system reads the terrain ahead of the truck hundreds of times per second to adjust suspension and add or remove weight to the steering wheel.
The 2025 Ram Rebel X will be immediately recognizable because of its bold new graphics. There is also an exclusive exterior color available for the Rebel X. Just like in the photo, the Rebel X can have an exclusive Mojave Sand color.
2025 Ram Rebel X Designed for the Trails
A blacked-out grille with “R-A-M” badging sits above a new black off-road front bumper design. The bumper is powder-coated, which ties in with the powder coated skid plate. The Rebel X has front tow hooks and new LED fog lamps. Black projector headlamps should improve off-road visibility. The aluminum sport hood completes the Rebel X’ distinctive appearance.
The Ram 1500 Rebel features paddle shifters, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and console-mounted performance shifter. A Rebel-specific interior offers leather bucket seats that feature the Rebel “X” logo with red accent stitching and red perforated seat inserts. An exclusive console badge includes the year Rebel was first introduced, signifying the 10th anniversary. A panoramic sunroof rounds out the distinctive interior content.
2025 Ram Rebel X is Not Just a Pretty Face
The 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel features enhanced off-road approach, departure and breakover angles courtesy of a 1-inch lift plus four-corner air suspension is available. The Rebel stands out with 33-inch all-terrain tires and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Other unique features on Rebel include Bilstein front and rear shocks, a softer rear stabilizer bar and a steering calibration that matches the Rebel’s increased ride height.
The Rebel has the all-new, more powerful 3.0-liter Hurricane Standard Output SST engine, with 420 horsepower and 469 lb.-ft. of torque. Only the 2025 Ram RHO has the High Output version with 540 horsepower.
The 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X is available now and starts at $64,195, plus $1,995 destination charge.
Ram’s New Off-Roading Lineup
Ram now features the most affordable off-road truck lineup in the industry. The most off-road models Ram has offered spans both the light- and heavy-duty lineup, including the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel, 2025 Ram 1500 Warlock, 2024 Ram 2500 Power Wagon and 2024 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty Rebel.
