The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator is continuing to wow the public as more and more of them are visible on the road. The deliveries of the hotly anticipated Gladiator started just as the summer was getting underway and people are realizing that the midsize pickup is more than just a stretched Jeep Wrangler. There are several key features that drivers will want to see on their new vehicles, regardless of the make or model.
I’ve already written about the cool little camera on the front of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator that shows you exactly what you are driving through. It is especially fun that the little camera has its own washer, so that you can see the path ahead, even if you are traveling through a mudfest.
Now, I want to focus on two interior perks that you will definitely want on any vehicle.
Jeep Gladiator's Great Storage Under the Seats
Ram trucks and the minivans have already improved storage in their respective vehicles, but the Jeep Gladiator adds a fun new dimension.

The rear seats can fold up to reveal a standard open storage bin, which organizes the space under the seat for stowing miscellaneous items. Even better, you can get an optional lockable bin. The bin is totally hidden when the seats are folded back down. The locking bin provides secure storage space when the top or doors are removed. The locking storage bin features two different size doors that correspond to the 60/40 split rear seat cushion. Removable dividers let you organize the box into five separate compartments and uses the same lock as the glove box and center console.
But that isn’t all. The rear seats are specially designed to be exclusive to the Gladiator. The seats feature segment-leading rear legroom. The new design for the seats also allows the seats to be locked in place so that you can have additional storage behind the seat backs. The rear seats can be folded flat to provide a load floor for larger items. When the rear seats are folded flat, LED lights on the quarter trim panels illuminate the storage space behind the seats. Two storage nets provide even more secure storage.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator adds even more storage by adding mesh pockets that extend the entire length of the doors. The mesh makes it easy to secure phones or other smaller items that can be jostled when you are driving off-road or through more rugged terrain.
Jeep Gladiator’s Removable Wireless Speaker
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is all about fun and function. One of the most fun available upgrades is a portable wireless speaker that is located behind the rear seat. The speaker has its own docking station so that you can keep it charged for whenever you happen to be enjoying a cookout off-road or on the beach and want to improve the ambience.
The removable wireless speaker is a great addition to any vehicle. It will be especially important as more and more people use their phones for audio and music. It will certainly make tailgating or any outdoor party more enjoyable when you have better audio. Giving it a space inside the vehicle to recharge means that it will always be available whenever the mood strikes. I would think that it would be a great addition for any vehicle but especially ones that cater to being outdoors.
I’ve just listed two of my favorite perks in the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Do yourself a favor, whenever you happen to see a new Gladiator, ask the new driver about their favorite amenities. I have found that Gladiator owners love to talk about them and are thrilled with their performance.
