Why Parents and Pets Love the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica

PARENTS Magazine is once again singling out the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica as one of the Best Family Cars 2021. With today being National Pet Day, we find it interesting that a number of the features that make the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica a great family vehicle also make it perfect for pets. The Chrysler Pacifica was also honored as a Best Family Vehicle by PARENTS last year.

The Chrysler Pacifica is the most awarded minivan in the last five years. It has been honored at least 145 times for its innovation and safety features. Chrysler really created the minivan segment and has continued to improve it over the years.

One huge new family friendly feature is the FamCAM that is designed to put every parent’s fears to rest. Finally, someone has created a camera that lets the driver see and monitor the child in a rear-facing child seat. The Chrysler Pacifica has more standard safety features than any vehicle in the industry. All of the features are designed to keep the family safely inside the “living room on wheels” while the minivan handles any adverse weather or road conditions.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica’s unique Stow ‘n Go second-row in-floor storage bins also contribute to making the minivan a perfect family vehicle. The Stow ‘n Go bins give the family more room to store toys, sports equipment, school supplies and groceries. That gives the passengers more legroom and improves safety because there are fewer items that can become projectiles if there is ever a crash.

The Uconnect 5 system offers a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and allows easy access to the phone system, navigation and entertainment. The Uconnect Theater has built-in games and available Wi-Fi to keep children entertained.

Many of these features explain why the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is great for pet parents as well. Last year, Pacifica was named to Autotrader’s list of the 10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers. The new FamCAM is perfect for keeping an eye on man or woman’s best friend while they are safely harnessed into a back seat.

The Stow ‘n Go storage bins are convenient for carrying pet toys or accessories. The bins also free up added room for larger pet carriers or crates that need to sit flat on the floor and be secured. The hands-free sliding doors and liftgate also make it much easier to load or unload larger pets or crates. The Stow ‘n Vac system also can make cleaning up pet hair or any spills much easier.
