2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro Review (with Video)

Probably my favorite Toyota model redesign since I have been covering this brand (over 17 years) is 2023 Sequoia.

When it was first revealed earlier this year, it checked just about every box on my criteria list. Bold and rugged styling, an incredible modern interior cabin, plenty of new technology and safety, and five trim levels to choose from.

Like TRD Pro.

2023 Sequoia TRD Pro

To me, the 2023 Sequoia TRD Pro is an ideal blend between capabilities and luxury.

Like all Sequoia grades, TRD Pro utilizes an i-FORCE MAX 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine combined with electric motor power. This produces 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. torque. This engine is matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Smooth and comfortable ride on city streets, at highway cruising speeds, and on the trails.

Speaking of off-roading, TRD Pro utilizes quite a few tools designed to help you when off the main road. Look for multi-terrain select, crawl control, and locking rear differential. Plus, standard FOX suspension system makes both off-road and on-road travel smooth, comfortable, successful, and fun.
