2023 Toyota Tacoma Release Date and Changes (with Video)

We are starting to see new model year releases for many popular Toyota models. The 2023 Camry has started hitting dealerships with some cool updates and changes.

And now we have news about 2023 Tacoma.

2023 Toyota Tacoma Release Date

According to Toyota, people interested in a 2023 Toyota Tacoma can start getting excited around the time frame of late September. This could, of course, also mean you will really begin seeing a larger volume into October and through the end of the year as well.

This coincides with the same time range for 2023 Tundra too.

2023 Tacoma TRD Pro

Solar Octane is now the feature color for 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. This replaces Electric Lime Metallic from 2022 as the bright signature shade.

Buyers can also find Solar Octane TRD Pro trucks and SUVs on 2023 Tundra, 2023 4Runner, and 2023 Sequoia.
Choose from 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro in Magnetic Gray Metallic, White, black, and Solar Octane (see them all here).

2023 Tacoma Chrome Package

Chrome package is new this year for Toyota Tacoma. It is available on SR5 Double Cab (with 5-foot bed), with V6 engine, and with either 4x2 or 4x4.

Features to look for are 18-inch chrome-finished alloy wheels, outer door handles, exhaust tip, and “TACOMA” tailgate insert. Tacoma Chrome Package also comes with leather-wrapped shift knob.

2023 Tacoma SX Package

A Tacoma SX Package is typically reserved for SR trim level. However, it is now offered on SR5 in both Access Cab and Double Cab configurations. Choose from either 4x2 or 4x4.

Features for 2023 Tacoma SX Package are 16-inch black wheels, bold black overfenders, black accent trim, black badging, and even black lug nuts.

Electric Lime Triumphant Return

In usual TRD Pro fashion, Electric Lime Metallic has passed the torch to Solar Octane for TRD Pro. But Electric Lime can now be found on both 2023 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and Tacoma TRD Sport.
